Sound character and directivity of HT18 is most similar to a bass reflex subwoofer. Soft, fat bass, omnidirectional response and short throw makes it suitable for use even in small venues.
The original hybrid enclosure allows this subwoofer to operate at the lower end of the low-frequency range with a relatively small volume.
There is an opinion that in professional acoustics 40Hz is enough, but modern music sets new standards. It is impossible not to notice the fundamental sound of a system playing 20Hz-40Hz range.
Light weight and compact size makes HT18 suitable for both installations and rentals. It is also can be used as a sub-bass in multi-way systems with other subwoofers, including horn subwoofers.
The system is based on a light-weight modern speaker with a neodymium magnet, 4" coil and aluminium radiator, which allows working at high power.
Speaker is covered with impact and abrasion resistant polyurea.
