A153

Asymmetric directivity line array element

This linear array's feature is asymmetric directivity angled 40/20 degrees horizontally and symmetric directivity of 15 degrees vertically. This allows vertical array setting close enough to the walls having no reflection problems, e.g. in narrow halls where the acoustics shouldn't block the stage.

When using speakers in horisontal array at the height of subs one can be certain all the high-frequency radiation is directed to the audience, not into the ceiling. Thus for the public we save 25% radiation energy which would otherwize disperce beyond the listening area. A153 is equipped with 15" neodymium midbass with 4" coil.

Due to its construction and aluminum radiator on the magnet assembly the speaker has a good overload capability, which, together with light moving system and 99dB sensitivity, allows creating high sound pressure in low frequency range.

Neodymium driver's large 3" diaphragm and big waveguide allowed us to achieve cutoff frequency of 900 Hz. This ensures even coverage and good dispersion control over frequency range.

Acoustics is designed for horizontal and vertical arrays up to 6 elements on one side and as front fills and dj monitors.

Default rigging hardware have splay angles: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10,5, 15.

Standard presets contains linear phase FIR-filters.

Speaker is equipped with a passive filter and covered with impact and abrasion resistant polyurea.
